1. Who we are

2. What data we collect

When you connect QuickBooks Online, we collect your accounting data, including your Chart of Accounts, Journal Entries, Invoices, Bills, Payments, and related transactional entities. We also store the OAuth refresh token issued by Intuit and your QuickBooks Online realm identifier so we can keep your data in sync.

3. How we use it

We use this data solely to sync your accounting records into a private data store that you control, so you can retrieve it later through the LedgerXL Excel add-in. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

4. How we store it

Data is encrypted at rest in AWS: credentials in SSM Parameter Store and accounting-data snapshots in S3. All data in transit is protected with TLS.

5. How long we keep it

We retain your data for as long as your LedgerXL account is active, plus a 90-day grace period after cancellation. If you ask us to revoke your refresh token, we do so within 48 hours.

6. Third parties

We use Amazon Web Services for hosting and Intuit as the source of QuickBooks Online data via its API. We do not use any other data processors.

7. Your rights

You may request an export or deletion of your data at any time by emailing pat.desomma@gmail.com.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the date of the last change.
